1. Company Information

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of language learning services provided by LexoFort Language Services ("we", "us", or "our"). LexoFort Language Services is currently operating as a sole proprietorship based in Sundsvall, Sweden.

2. General Description of Services

LexoFort Language Services provides live, online language learning courses in the following areas:

• English (General) – Courses available for all proficiency levels

• Business English – Courses focused on workplace communication, including presentations, emails, meetings, and business vocabulary

• German – Courses offered at beginner and intermediate levels

Courses are delivered via one-on-one sessions or in small groups of 2 to 4 participants, depending on the selected service.

Access to Services
All sessions are conducted online using Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Participants will receive access details and schedules via email upon registration. Communication with LexoFort Language Services is currently handled through email at LexoFortServices@gmail.com.

Geographic Availability
Initially, our services are available to clients based in Europe. We plan to expand availability to the Americas and Asia at a later stage. It is the responsibility of each user to ensure that accessing our services complies with local laws and regulations in their country of residence.

 

3. Pricing and Payment Information

a. Pricing Structure

LexoFort Language Services offers several flexible pricing options, based on course duration and intensity:

• Single Class: One 60-minute session

• Monthly Package: Four 60-minute sessions (one session per week)

• Bi-Monthly Package: Eight 60-minute sessions (over two months)

• Intensive/Flexible Planning: Customized course plans (e.g., five sessions per week or other tailored arrangements) can be agreed upon individually

​All pricing details will be clearly communicated to the student during the booking process.

b. Currency

All payments are made in Swedish Krona (SEK). Students paying from outside Sweden may make transfers from their local currency, subject to their bank’s exchange rate and any applicable transfer fees.

c. Payment Methods

At present, payment is accepted via bank transfer only. Full bank account details will be provided upon course confirmation. Additional payment options, such as Wise, may be introduced in the future.

d. Payment Due Dates

Payment is due in full after the student has confirmed their course booking and accepted these Terms and Conditions. Payment must be received before the first scheduled class. No classes will be conducted until payment has been confirmed.

 

4. Refund Policy

a. Eligibility for Refund

All purchases of language courses are non-refundable. By confirming a course booking and submitting payment, students agree to commit to the scheduled sessions.

Refunds will only be issued under the following exceptional circumstances:

• The instructor is unable to deliver the course or a session due to unforeseen emergencies, such as illness, injury, or other serious personal situations.

• A course is cancelled by LexoFort Language Services and no suitable alternative (e.g., rescheduling) can be offered.

No refunds will be granted for missed classes, scheduling conflicts, or changes in personal circumstances on the student’s part. However, we aim to accommodate rescheduling requests with reasonable notice (see rescheduling policy, if applicable).

b. Refund Process

If LexoFort Language Services must cancel a class or course due to unforeseen emergencies (e.g., illness or injury of the instructor), we will notify the affected student(s) as soon as possible via email. In such cases, we will offer one of the following options:

• A rescheduled session at a mutually convenient time

• A full refund for the missed session(s), if rescheduling is not possible

The refund will be initiated directly by LexoFort Language Services—no request from the student is required.

c. Refund Timeframe

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7 business days of cancellation notification. The actual time for the refund to appear in the student’s account may vary depending on their bank or payment provider.

 

5. User Responsibilities and Restrictions

5.1 Access and Use of Services

Users may access our language services without creating an account. However, by using our services, you agree to do so in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and any applicable laws or regulations.

5.2 Use of Content

Our services include live lessons, downloadable PDFs, and quizzes designed for individual learning purposes. By using our services, you agree that:

• All materials are for your personal, non-commercial use only.

• Downloaded content must not be shared, redistributed, printed, or reused for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission.

• Materials may not be used to create or offer competing services, courses, or content.

• Materials provided are not accompanied by any form of certification or formal accreditation.

Any unauthorized use of the content may result in termination of your access to future services and may constitute a breach of intellectual property law.

5.3 Code of Conduct and Participation in Live Classes

Our language services include both group and one-to-one live classes led by qualified instructors. To maintain a respectful and effective learning environment, users agree to the following:

• Behave respectfully and professionally during all live sessions.

• Refrain from using inappropriate, offensive, or disruptive language or behavior.

• Notify us in advance if unable to attend a scheduled class.

 

Cancellations and No-Show Policy:

• For individual classes, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to be eligible for rescheduling. The new time will be arranged by mutual agreement.

• For group classes (2–4 students), only if all of the group participants cancel with sufficient notice, the session will be rescheduled, othewise the course as scheduled will be conducted.

• No-shows (failure to attend without notice) are not eligible for rescheduling or refund.

5.4 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use any materials, resources, or teaching content provided through the service to instruct others or to develop or promote competing services.

• Upload, share, or introduce any content that is offensive, illegal, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

• Use artificial intelligence tools or automated bots during live classes or sessions.

• Misuse the service in a way that disrupts or negatively affects other participants or instructors.

We reserve the right to refuse future services to any individual who violates these Terms and Conditions. This decision may be made without prior notice and at our sole discretion.

 

6. Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided through our services — including but not limited to lesson plans, teaching materials, downloadable PDFs, quizzes, website content, branding elements (such as our name and logo), and any other resources — are the intellectual property of LexoFort Language Services or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

6.1 Ownership and Use of Materials

We use a combination of original content and third-party resources (such as licensed textbooks or digital tools). Unless otherwise stated, all materials made available through our services are intended solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You are not permitted to:

• Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or publicly display any content without our prior written consent;

• Use our materials to develop or promote any competing service;

• Share, sell, or otherwise make our content available to others in any format.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by LexoFort Language Services or the respective third-party licensors.

6.2 User-Generated Content

You retain full ownership of the content you create and submit as part of your use of our services ("User Content"), such as written assignments or other submissions. By submitting User Content, you grant LexoFort Language Services a non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license to use, store, and process the content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services (e.g., reviewing assignments, providing feedback). We will not publish, share, or reuse your content for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

We may request your permission to use anonymized examples of User Content for internal educational or training purposes, but such use will always require your prior approval.

6.3 Brand Protection

The name, logo, and all associated branding elements of LexoFort Language Services are protected under copyright and trademark law. You may not use our brand name, logo, or any other identifying marks without our prior written consent. Any misuse of our intellectual property — including our teaching materials, branding, or digital content — may result in legal action and the termination of your access to our services.

 

7. Privacy and Data Protection

By using our services, you consent to the collection, processing, and sharing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may use third-party services to deliver our offerings, including:

• Zoom and Microsoft Teams: To facilitate live classes, your personal data such as your name and email may be processed by these platforms.

• Google Analytics: To analyze website traffic and user behavior, Google Analytics may collect anonymous data such as your IP address and pages visited.

• Payment Providers: We process payments via secure bank-to-bank transactions, but your banking details are not stored by us.

We also use cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience, analyze traffic, and provide personalized content. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect the functionality of certain features.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), if applicable. 8. Dispute Resolution

Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. You agree that any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sweden.

Resolution Process

We encourage all users to contact us directly if they have any concerns or disputes with our services. We are committed to resolving any issues amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached informally, we may pursue alternative dispute resolution methods, including:

• Mediation with a neutral third party

• Arbitration, if mediation is unsuccessful, which will be conducted under the rules of a reputable arbitration organization

If these methods are unsuccessful, legal action may be pursued through the courts in Sweden.

 

9. Term and Termination

Duration of Agreement

This agreement will remain in effect for the duration of your access to our services. Once you have paid for and begun your course, this agreement applies until you have completed the course or your access is otherwise terminated, as outlined below.

Termination by User

You may terminate this agreement at any time by notifying LexoFort Language Services via email. Since payment is required upfront for courses, no further charges will be incurred upon termination. However, termination will not result in a refund, except in the exceptional circumstances outlined in our Refund Policy.

Termination by Service Provider

We reserve the right to terminate your access to our services if you breach any of the terms outlined in these Terms of Service, including violations of the Prohibited Uses section or failure to adhere to the Code of Conduct. In the event of termination for breach, you will not be entitled to any refund, and access to the course will be immediately revoked.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination of this agreement, whether by you or us, your access to the course and related materials will be immediately revoked. No further access will be granted, and no refund will be issued unless specified under our Refund Policy. Any unpaid balances will still be due at the time of termination.

 

10. Liability and Limitations

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LexoFort Language Services shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to any loss of profits, data, earnings, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use our services.

• Any errors or omissions in content.

• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or personal data stored thereon.

• Any interruption or cessation of service.

Force Majeure

LexoFort Language Services shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this agreement if such failure or delay is due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, floods, storms, etc.)

• Acts of government (e.g., laws, regulations, restrictions, or sanctions)

• Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies (e.g., COVID-19)

• Strikes, lockouts, or labor disputes

• Civil unrest, war, or acts of terrorism

• Technical failures or network disruptions outside our control

In the event of a force majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to notify students of any delay or service disruption and resume normal service as soon as possible.

No Guarantee of Results

While we aim to provide high-quality education and support, LexoFort Language Services makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes, including but not limited to language proficiency, exam results, or job opportunities. The effectiveness of our courses depends on various factors, including the student’s effort, prior knowledge, and external circumstances.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LexoFort Language Services, its affiliates, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the services.

• Any violation of these Terms of Service.

• Any content you submit, including but not limited to user-generated content.
